Sub-Tropical

Palm trees, Ginger, Canna lily, Bougainvillea, Cycads and Aloes are a few plants that come from Tropical climates that grow well in our Santa Barbara area. This garden style lends itself well the Santa Barbara bungalow style or beach community, reminding us of places like Hawaii, Mexico and the south Pacific. Usually requiring a little more water than other plant material, new varieties and hybrids of these plants have become drought tolerant while still maintaining the look and feel of the tropics. It is a lush and tranquil aesthetic that makes everyone feel comfortable and casual.
